This exclusive service offers our customers a free loaner vehicle while we repair your primary one. We want your experience with us to be hassle and stress free as possible. We hope you enjoy any one of our complementary loan vehicles while you wait for your car repairs to be completed.
Free Loaner Vehicle Policy
1) Vehicle: The Loaner Vehicle is to be operated only by “Authorized Drivers”
2) Authorized Drivers: Only the customer who has submitted a valid driver’s license and proof of current insurance coverage to Mander Collision and Glass may drive the Loaner vehicle or legal spouse who is licensed and insured.
3) Use Restrictions: The vehicle will not be used or operated by anyone:
A) who is not an “Authorized Driver”;
B) who allows more passengers to occupy the Vehicle than there are seat belts or who does not require all occupants to comply with applicable seat-belt and child restraint laws;
C) off regularly maintained and paved roadways;
D) who leaves the Vehicle and fails to remove the keys, close and lock all doors and close all windows and the trunk, or otherwise aids in vandalism or theft of the vehicle;
E) when continued use of the vehicle is likely to cause damage to the vehicle;
F) to engage in any speed contest; to carry people or property for hire; to push anything; tow anything; to carry hazardous or explosive substances;
G) if the vehicle is obtained upon the basis of false or misleading information;
H) who, as a result of reckless misconduct, damages the vehicle or causes personal injury or property damage to others;
I) while intoxicated or under the influence of any substance that impairs driving ability
J) During the commission of a felony or for the transportation of illegal drugs or contraband.
4) Vehicle Loss and Personal/ Property Damage: Regardless of fault, the “Authorized Driver” is responsible for all loss and damage to the vehicle (including any loss or damage caused by acts of God or accidental fire that is not the result of a collision) and any reduction of value of the vehicle that remains after repair, plus actual towing, storage, impound and other related expenses, Mander’s loss of use and an administrative charge for expenses associated with processing the loss and damage claim. The “Authorized driver” is responsible for any property/ personal damage, or any bodily injury, harm, dismemberment or deaths (personal or to others) while in possession of the loaner vehicle, proof of insurance is required. Mander Collision will not be held responsible for any liabilities.
5) Fuel: “Authorized Driver” will pay for or replace all fuel provided by Mander Collision by buying the fuel in the tank at the beginning of the loaner period or returning the vehicle with as much fuel as when received (no refunds apply for unused fuel or for fuel in excess of that initially provided). If “Authorized Driver” does not buy the fuel in the tank at the beginning of the loaner period and returns the Vehicle with less fuel than when received, a refueling charge applies. The refueling charge is determined by multiplying the number of gallons needed to refill the tank by the dollar-per-gallon rate at the time of the loaner return PLUS $10 service fee.
6) Traffic Law Violations and Parking Citations: “Authorized Driver” will pay all fines and penalties for traffic law violations and parking citations issued during the loaner period and an administrative charge to Mander Collision for responding to authorities concerning such violations and/or citations.
7) Repairs and Alterations: No repairs or alterations to the Vehicle are permitted without the prior consent of Mander Collision. “Authorized Driver” will pay for all unauthorized repairs and replacement parts, as well as the cost of restoring any unauthorized alterations.
8) Vehicle Return: “ Authorized Driver” will return the Vehicle in the same condition as when received, to the location within 24 hours of the date notified, or sooner if requested by Mander Collision.
9) Failure to Return Vehicle: If the Vehicle is not returned when due or within 24 hours after written or oral demand by Mander Collision, the “Authorized Driver” will be in unlawful possession of the Vehicle, and Mander Collision may seek the issuance of a warrant for the arrest of anyone in possession of the vehicle (including the “Authorized Driver”). Charges may be applied for late returns for use of the Vehicle after 24 hours from notification from Mander Collision.
10) Property Placed, Transported or Left in any Vehicle or at Mander Collision: The “Authorized Driver” is entirely responsible for all loss of and damage to any property placed, transported or left in any Vehicle or at the Mander Collision facility.
Deposit: A Major credit card is required before receiving a Vehicle from Mander Collision. A $50.00 refundable deposit is also acceptable. Deposit will be refunded at the Vehicle return after final charges have been calculated.
Free Loaner Vehicle Agreement
1) Terms: A “free loaner vehicle” will be provided after the following conditions have been met:
a) There is no rental coverage on the claim of the policyholder.
b) There is no other party at fault that may be billed directly for the use of a vehicle during the repair period.
c) The driver is over the age of 18.
2) Conditions: A loaner vehicle will be provided to the customer after the following conditions have been met:
a) When the customers insurance has approved the estimate and the parts have been received.
b) When work is able to be performed on the vehicle any given day without “hold ups” outside of Mander Collision’s control, i.e.: insurance supplements, parts back ordered, etc.
c) Upon signed work authorization form and Direction to Pay form.
d) The driver has signed a vehicle check out form.
3) Charges to customer: If any of the terms or conditions are not met, charges to the customer may apply to a customer in a loaner vehicle:
a) Any vehicle not returned within 24 hours from notification of completed repairs will be charged the “per day” charge.
b) The charge of the vehicle ($25 per day + TAX) will be billed to the customer.
c) Customer is responsible for deductible amount and repair fees at time of vehicle pick up and loaner return.
d) Mander Collision and Glass accepts the following forms of payment only: Checks from insurance companies, Personal check up to $500 with ID, Cashier’s check, Cash or Visa, MC, AMEX, Discover with ID.
* No pets or Smoking allowed. If evidence of smoking or pets in vehicle a $75.00 detailing charge will be collected.
